Sometimes like people we can't ever forget the fear of a experience. It truly takes a village to help an animal who has been so tramatized. Trudy will be in my prayers every day. I take comfort knowing she has her own village who love her. I'm so glad she has a wonderful home :-) As far as blind horses, I've read that they actually do better with a fly mask, with the good eye covered too, so they rely on their other senses, it's too confusing with just the one eye. You might want to look into that. As far as Roger, if he truly loves her, he will still come to visit her at her home. She should stay where she is. There are plenty of other horses that need love and devotion. That's what I believe. What evil creatures some humans can be. It is amazing that abused animals could ever trust another human. I am thankful that there are humans that can handle such sad situations and help these beautiful creatures. My heart breaks too much to even read about the abuse, let alone see it every day. I am giving my horses an extra hug and praying they will never have to go through such horror. God help us all.....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2113261523964123873.post-46294460729721320462012-03-28T04:28:52.700-07:002012-03-28T04:28:52.700-07:00trudy has won all our hearts at the rescue.. she i...trudy has won all our hearts at the rescue.. she is one special lady and she is so lucky to have you to love and care for her.. i am honored to call both of you my friend.. thank you for sharing trudy and her story.spirithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17168997429318722407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2113261523964123873.post-82408866297502440662012-03-23T07:15:04.486-07:002012-03-23T07:15:04.486-07:00Trudy's story broke my heart. While I have never visited I keep up with the horses you have rescued. I have two myself. Not too long ago I had to make a really hard decision and put our older mare down. I am still heartbroken. Keeping Trudy and everyone in our prayers.Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12482210567322538792noreply@blogger.com
